Comfort is a prerequisite of feeling good. Marianne from Prussia was attracted by the magnificent location and its climatic benefits and aquired the castle in 1855. Luxurious living enhances the quality of life. It is our aim to fulfil this principle. You can choose from 39 elegantly furnished rooms and 15 generous suites, some with whirpool and fireplace. All have wonderful views over the castle park, Rhine or the vineyards and feature lovingly selected antiques. Modern amenities such as ISDN-connection, safe and trouser press are just some of the services provided.

Dining In

The Restaurant Wintergarden with its spacious terrace awaits you throughout the day. Start with a hearty breakfast (from 06:30 - 11:00), linger over to lunch (from 12:00 - 14:00) and enjoy coffee and homemade cake in the afternoon. Our local speciality, the "Rieslingtorte", is a must. In the evening selected culinary dishes from our dinner menue will delight you, as will the wines from our vineyards. Open everyday. Balzers Restaurant "Prinzess von Erbach" features lifestyle cuisine inspired by Mediteranian culture. Open Wednesday to Saturday 18:00 - 24:00. Sunday 12:00 - 18:00. Restaurant Schloss Schänke is a good mix of traditional Rheingau Food and Wines and a cosy atmosphere. This ensures a memorable delicious experience. Open: daily from 17:00 - 24:00
